A bit of rubbish really... this is what happens when you can't sleep and have watched way too much Doctor Who recently. You speedpaint 'til you fall asleep on your keyboard.
I was watching a video speculating about the upcoming 50th Anniversary episode, which is said to be about the Time War. The Nightmare Child came up, and someone suggested that it might be a sentient black hole. I personally have no idea what it's going to turn out to be but I could only imagine a little girl crying for help, reaching out, her figure blotting out the stars.

Very interesting idea; both incredibly creepy and rather sympathetic at the same time. I've always wondered what the Nightmare Child could be like and what it could be, and with how many times the Child's been mentioned overall across the 'Doctor Who' franchise, it's slightly ticked me off that it still hasn't gotten an actual appearance either on TV or in the spinoff media. This creature here looks like it could be both a very frightening and spine-tingling monster and have a real character about it (although I'd be cool with it just being the former since it is a really creepy idea).
